Elizabeth Chadwick is an author of historical fiction who is, I believe, sadly under-appreciated in the United States. She writes about subjects from British history not broached by other authors and brings them vividly to life. I’ve reviewed a number of her books over the years, including her most recent book, A Place Beyond Courage.
