As most of you know, I’m having twins this summer. Soon, actually. Like, by Monday. I’ve been reading ahead, so the blog won’t be going down completely, but you can definitely expect some changes, at least through the end of August. Reviews will be posted on Mondays and Wednesdays, in addition to audiobook reviews on Fridays for Sound Bytes. Saturday Story Spotlight has already been, well, spotty, and that’s likely to continue for awhile. Sunday Salon posts may be slightly hit or miss, but they should still come around most of the time. I can promise that after the girls are born you’ll get pictures of them and the nursery (either Tuesday or Thursday next week, assuming I can get to it). The best place to keep up with me will probably be Twitter, but I’m also hoping to continue posting the It’s Monday, What are You Reading? meme on my tumblr.
Basically, although things will be slowing down, I’m not going anywhere, and I hope you’ll stick around, too.

Yay! So exciting. Twins. Oy vey. I’ll say you’re life will be changing. :))
Wishing you all the best!
Safe delivery! I can’t wait to see pictures of the girls!
Best of luck to you, Jen! And, believe me, I think your readership will fully understand any spottiness. I can’t imagine how much your life will change and how caught up you’ll be with those little lovelies. Here’s hoping everything goes smoothly and that you get into a good routine soon.
How exciting - I can’t wait to see pictures! I hope you have smooth, uneventful delivery.
So excited for you! I hope everything goes well and you know we’ll all still be here whenever you’re up for stopping by!
I can honestly say I’ve been there, and while my twin girls will be 19 soon I do remember both my pregnancy and their infancy. Crazy as life was I loved every minute. I think your readers have much understanding and just give us some baby pictures and I know I’ll be happy!!!
I’ll be thinking of you in the final stages of pregnancy! I can’t wait to see photos of the girls and think it’s beyond amazing how much you’ve kept up reading and blogging while being pregnant with twins!
If anyone deserves a break from blogging for a while, it’s you! Thanks again for such a great Audiobook Week. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a safe delivery.
Wow - will be sending you good thoughts for a smooth delivery (and transition to home and twin parenthood)!
Kudos on all your fabulous work on Audiobook week. It was exciting to read about so many new listeners.
Wonderful blessings!!!
Nursery? check. Onsies? check. Diapers? check. Suitcase? check. Blog posts for the next two months? check. check. check!
I’m so impressed that you have written posts so far ahead in preparation. I wish you and your girls a safe and happy delivery. Enjoy the little moments, they grow SO fast the first year.
God bless!
Alison
Of course we’ll stick around! I’m excited to see pictures of the twins.
Of course we’ll stick around - otherwise we’d miss you (not to mention news of baby girls). I wish you all the very best next week (and thereafter).
Enjoy your babies! We’ll be here when you get back
Good luck to you!! I’ll stick around.
Good luck sweetie!!!!
I had mine 6 months ago so I can relate.
May it go smoothly and quickly.
I love your expectations of yourself with twins on the way, 3 reviews a week, that sounds super mom worthy, lol.
Best of luck next week, wishing you all the best and a quick recovery.
Sure why not take a break, you deserve it. Best wishes with the Twins.
Hoping you have a smooth delivery. And if you are bone tired and can’t keep up with the schedule you outlined above, it doesn’t matter! Get your rest. Taking care of twins is a lot of work and they are more important that anything else.
Good luck!!!
Looking forward to everything that is to come - baby pictures, blog posts, reviews…
Exciting times. All the best!
Sending good thoughts, blessing, and hugs your way. Take care of yourself so you can take care of those wonderful babies.
First and foremost, take care of yourself and your family. Everything else should be a distant priority at this time. I wish you the best.
