We had a super fun week this past week. On Thursday night, Daniel had his first experience on a boat. We got to motor around the harbor downtown in a coworker’s sailboat. He had an absolute BLAST and even got to ‘drive’ the boat.

It was a pretty good reading week, as well. Lots of nonfiction and historical fiction, which always makes me happy. Here’s what I finished:

And here’s what I reviewed last week:

  1. Daniel is so cute! I can’t believe he was wearing a jacket and a hood – it’s still warm down here.

    • We’re back up to warm temperatures this weekend, most of last week was just cool enough in the morning to need a light jacket if you were wearing short sleeves. Thursday, though, was a little cooler in the evening because a storm was blowing in, and it was a bit cold for that skinny little boy out on the water.

  2. It looks like the middle of winter in that video! Daniel is very adorable driving the boat.

  3. I maintain he is the cutest kid ever. When I left Boston this morning, I had to wear a sweater. Now, not so much. Back to the 90′s. Really ready for some fall weather…

  4. Oh such a great video! I love love love the boat driving.

  5. Adorable, as ever! I am seriously in love with your son. Keep the videos coming!

  6. It does look like a fun weekend! I really want to read The Leftovers.

  7. I remember when my brother was little he ‘drove’ the local ferry. Somehow he managed to change the course…
