Oh, friends, I am sooo excited! BEA is coming up in May, and I am going this year! I just registered for both BEA and Book Blogger Con, which is occurring the day after BEA. I even got my flight booked, just $200 round trip! Hotel and roommates are taken care of, so I’m made in the shade! We still have to figure out the schedule for Daniel those 4 days, but it sounds like various family will be taking time off to watch him, so no babysitting costs, which is very, very helpful.
I’m really looking forward to meeting many of the book bloggers, authors, publicists, and other publishing house people I’ve communicated with over the last two years!
Who else is going to BEA?

Hope to meet you there! I’ll be attending BEA and the book blogger con as well, though haven’t made travel plans yet. You’re going to have a blast. Bring along a really large tote bag to carry all the books
I’m so hoping I can attend, but I’m still trying to work out costs between BEA and ALA (which ALA is the priority if I’m on committee again).

I just registered as well. SO excited! Last year was amazing. Haven’t got flight arrangements done yet, but hope to soon.
I really wish I could figure out a way to go. I guess it would help if I made a few bucks from this blogging thing! Well, I will be there in spirit!
I sure wish I could go. I don’t think I can swing it though with furloughs and layoffs coming. Plus, with me on the West coast it really takes a chunnk of time (and money) just to get there and back.
I am going as well as Miss Remmers (Regan) from Miss Remmers blog. We are both from Minnesota and will be roomies. I am so excited to be a part of this!

My mom and I had actually discussed going and obviously I was thrilled about it but now I am getting married in May instead. So it’s definitely a worthwhile tradeoff but I am sure hoping to make it in 2011!
