I used to love science fiction as a kid. But then I discovered fantasy and never really did get back to much science fiction after that. I’ve always liked Douglas Adams – I’ll have to give Scalzi a try.

I had such fun reading these at the start of the year. It’ll be different experience reading the Last Colony after having read Zoe’s Tale, as well. Can’t wait to see your review and how it effects your thoughts on it.

(although I don’t suppose it’s all that different to reading Zoe’s Tale after The Last Colony… Still it’ll be interesting to see if it does!)

I may have to try some of Scalzi’s work because I don’t enjoy sci-fi but both my husband and son do. They’d be so impressed if they say me reading sci-fi!

It isn’t Adams-like really, but still the only other scifi I like. Start with Old Man’s War, it is the first in the series.
