“Those are from before I knew him. I’m just telling you he didn’t try to shoot himself tonight. It was some insane hunter.”

Aah, I loved this book! Great teaser.
My TT
Great teaser! I’m off on a tangent of non-fiction (along with a thriller — can’t eat all vegetables and no good stuff, you know!). I’m just going to tease title and content: Time to Care by Dr. Norman Makous, which looks at the state of health care (very timely, no?) from the point of view of someone who has seen decades of changes in the medical field. Technology and business have become more important than the patient, in his view. And he tells lots of great stories about how a personal relationship with a doctor is so important — he kept that old-fashioned and personal style as a doctor, despite all the modern changes going on. Very interesting.
Great teaser! I’ve seen this book in several blogs and wondered about it. Now I’m very intrigued about it. I think it’s about to find a spot on my TBR list!
I read this last week and loved it!
This was a pretty brutal part of the story. Eek!
