It reads like BAD young adult fiction. Most of the young adult fiction I read is much more sophisticated than this was.

What a joke! — no bibliography, no index and it reads like young adult fiction. So happy it is the first and only James Patterson book I will read!

I was wondering about this book. I knew that I wasn’t going to read it when I noticed that is is clasified as non-fiction. I knew that much is not known and would only be speculation. The classification turned me off right away for that reason. Thanks for confirming my thoughts.

I get distracted, too, when conversations are offered up in nonfiction from a time period impossible to have a written account of said discussion. LOVE this review!

Hee Hee. I do think that the 18 manuscriptsat once is part of the reason I try to avoid Patterson. I do say try, because I am week and when my mom goves me one I usually read it.

It would be hard to believe that a man who doesn’t even fully write out his own novels would take the time to do the research necessary to really give a non-fictional account of Tut’s death.

Your review pretty much sums up what I was expecting from this book. I have long been interested in Ancient Egypt, but I was afraid that James Patterson, of all people, wasn’t quite the author to tackle the subject. This sounds like a terrible mashup of three different books and one would think such an established author would know better! Thanks for reading so I don’t have to

I am experiencing an almost uncontrollable giggling fit! Obviously Patterson just had a whimsy about the legend and HAD to get in there and mess with it. Personally, I think Patterson is losing his edge, so I can see where this would all go awry! I loved this review…you are on a roll!
