This is really the beginning of my hour 19, so I feel like I’m really in the home stretch now. If only I can make it 6 more hours…
I haven’t done much since my last check in. I got one book read, but it was a quick one. My time was spent eating dinner at my inlaws’ and hanging out with the husband and baby once we got home, sneaking a bit of my book in the middle. The baby WAS asleep, but he’s awake again. I’m going to try to rectify that, then hopefully I can get at least a few more good hours of reading in.
Since the last check-in:
Time elapsed: 4.5 hours
Books Read: The Murder of King Tut by James Patterson
Pages Read: 332
Time Spent Reading: 2 hours, 45 minutes of highly distracted time
Books Finished: 1 – The Murder of King Tut by James Patterson
Cumulative:
Time elapsed: 18 hours
Books Read: Confessions of a Slacker Mom by Muffy Mead-Ferro, Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood by Marjane Satrapi, The King’s Rose by Alisa M. Libby, The Black Stallion Returns by Walter Farley, Once Was Lost by Sarah Zarr, Where Men Win Glory by Jon Krakauer (audio), Where’s Baby’s Halloween Pumpkin, The Murder of King Tut by James Patterson
Pages Read: 1341
Time Spent Reading: 12 hours, 10 minutes plus 15 minutes of audio
Books Finished: 6 – Confessions of a Slacker Mom by Muffy Mead-Ferro, Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood by Marjane Satrapi, The King’s Rose by Alisa M. Libby, The Black Stallion Returns by Walter Farley, Once Was Lost by Sarah Zarr, Where’s Baby’s Halloween Pumpkin, The Murder of King Tut by James Patterson
Now I’m wondering what on EARTH I did with 6 hours of my reading time. I know it is just little bits here and there mostly, but it really adds up!

I don’t know, I think you’re doing just great. It’s like two hours per book — not bad at all.
Keep going, you’re almost at the home stretch!

I got booted off Twitter for tweeting too much! I wanted to say, I would NOT be surprised at all if Daniel turns over – he is one very very bright baby! And I LOVE that he’s trying to scoot now that you’ve put him on his stomach! Yay! Daniel!!

I think we need to start giving Twitter a list of the cheerleaders so they don’t kick them off! Not that I expect it would actually do any good.
