I have a Kindle and I love it … and I’ve found that you can download other books from other sources like from Project Gutenberg. You can also send them files to convert for you (some restrictions) so don’t totally count it out. But there are more and more out there to choose from.

Well, you have ruined it for me. I can’t even begin to come up with a post that original. LOL Great writing. I love it!
I do have a kindle and don’t really feel trapped by ordering from them. The wireless anytime, anywhere connection sold me on it. I love it. I need another e-reader though because my daughter does too!

I love my kindle and I never thought I’d be an e-reader. I checked some other e-readers but The Kindle really seemed to be the best for me. I’ve had it for several months and no problems. I love being able to buy a book at midnight! But I still love my paperbooks and will never give those up.

Very, very creative post! I love it! I have a Kindle and thought I’d never use any other eBook. But, I seem to be wanting a book wherever I go and I don’t always carry the Kindle with me. I have been using Kindle on the iPhone, but recently discovered the Stanza, an iPhone app that provides a really nice interface for eBooks. Since I am also a “devourer of books,” I’ve even broken down and started reading on the laptop. I didn’t ever think I’d enjoy eBooks so much. I’ve been old fashioned and use to print everything first. But, you can teach an “old dog” new tricks! Books are books and you just can’t get enough input.

Great blog post. I can’t wait to share this with my fellow eReaders! (~Claudia)
