I totally agree about Sunne in Splendour. I liked this, but it does pale a little in comparison to Sharon Penman’s tome!

I had a similar reaction. I liked this book, but I read it before I read Sunne in Splendour–or, really, any of Penman’s works. But the story of this book is interesting.
