My husband took some pictures of the baby’s room yesterday because the women at his school want to see what it looks like, so I thought I’d share some more pictures. We still have a few things that need to go up, like the curtains (which are pictured laid over the side of the changing table), and a couple of pictures. Since our theme is “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” we’re having a painting of a big caterpillar done on a 3 foot by 4 foot canvas. There are a couple of small pictures that we don’t want to put up until we see the canvas in the room and another picture that still needs a frame.

By the way, any fabric you see in these pictures is something my mom made. She also put those two small pictures together, put the little ornament onto the lamp, and got the LA Festival of Books poster for us.

Too darn cute especially given that Mommy is a book-lover. I love the bright colors and your mom did an amazing job with all the sewing! It’s getting close!!!! I can’t wait to “see” him!

That room is too darn cute, Jen! I’m getting so excited to meet the little guy who is going to live there. It won’t be long now. Rest as much as you can between now and then and dream of your little one.

OMG! The room is just precious. What a terrific job you did. What little boy wouldn’t just love to call that room his own. And your mother is so talented. I’ve been curious about the room since you started talking about it. Thanks for the photos.

That is *super* cute…. and major points to your mom, everything looks fantastic. I particularly like the two smaller prints!
This was also kind a reassuring post, since I was worried that the blanket was going to be way too bright… but seeing these pictures, I think it’s going to be okay.
