Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Evaand Alessandra that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library.
Since today is my due date and I don’t want to end up with any library fines because I’m in the hospital when books become due, I returned a whole bunch of books today. I took back everything that is due within the next week and doesn’t have any more holds. I’m planning to read review books until the baby comes so I don’t get behind on those, so, honestly, none of those books were going to get read before their due date anyway. Still, it was sort of sad. I hate returning books unread, they just seem so pathetic.
It wasn’t all just sad, returned books today though, I did couple a few things out. They are:

Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan
The Forest of Hands & Teeth sounds creepy. I love the title, but I’m not sure I can handle the book. I look forward to reading your reviews!

I’ve heard very good things about Forest of Hands and Teeth. I would have done the same thing with the library books if I were in your position. My daughter was nearly a month early, so I was caught unprepared. (I don’t like to be unprepared!) So when I got within a month and a half or so of my son’s date, I had battened down the hatches!

I’ve seen The Forest of Hands and Teeth on several blogs and I am really interested in picking that one up…now if only I could make a dent in this pile of review copies!
