Good list! You’ve got several there that I almost included on my list, too. Especially “Mockingbird” and “Handmaid’s Tale” – certainly memorable. It was really hard to stick to just fifteen books.

Nice list. I should have thought of Margaret Atwood and The Kite Runner, but fifteen books just wasn’t enough.

It is neat to see a lot of the same books appear as well as getting ideas for future reads.

Great list! I should have played along today, but I stuck with my tea post instead.

I agree that 15 books wasn’t enough. There were so many more that I thought of after I reached the 15 book limit.
I included To Kill a Mockingbird and would have included The Handmaid’s Tale if the list could have been longer. I’d forgotten all about The Screwtape Letters as well. Thanks for the reminder

Great list! The only book I have read is The Kite Runner. I have heard great things about The Help and look forward to reading it.

Excellent list! I wish I would have thought of The Little Prince. I thought about East of Eden and Tears of the Desert, too. They would have been on my list, too, if only my list were allowed to be a little longer…

I’m happy to see Kafka on a reader’s list. Woohoo! I love your list, with all the memorable titles from school, like To Kill a Mockingbird, Grapes of Wrath, and Metapmorphosis.
The help is on my radar.
My full list.

The Little Prince made mine, and it’s the only one I’ve read from your list, actually! To Kill a Mockingbird is being bumped up the TBR list; I’ve seen it on far too many people’s sticky lists to ignore it any longer.
Erm, I’d love for my comment to link to my sticky list underneath like everyone else’s, but apparently I’m broken.

Love To Kill a Mockingbird. Have The Help on my tbr pile and will have to add The Kite Runner since I have seen it on several lists. Good list, looks like more to add to my tbr pile.

Great list! I have a couple of those books on my wish list. I have a copi of The Little Prince, but I haven’t read it yet. I got it as a gift when I was a young girl, from an American friend of the family, I believe he has written on the inside cover “The most magical book I ever read”. I have to read it one day, but I cannot remember where I put it after we moved, probably still in a box.

I’m so excited to see that you picked “The Killer Angels,” too! You’ve got a great mix of books on your list.
