I'm not nearly creative enough though!:) My favorite time period in my country - the USA - would have to be the 20th century - I guess not too long ago, but I love movies/books about the turn of the century, the 20s, the Great Depression, World War II, the 60s, the 70s and the 80s... just about the whole century!
