I used to love going when I was a kid and we had to drive there. But today I prefer to read books that I own, even though our library is within walking distance. I figure if a book appeals to me enough for me to be reading it, I might as well buy it. I only go to the library occasionally to read the magazines. EL Fay’s last blog post..Oops!

I enjoyed reading your post. For me the library is my first choice. I like to browse at the bookstores and write down the titles of books I want to read and see if my library has them. I was such a magnet to libraries when I was young. I still remembered that sensation of getting my library card—that felt so privileged and special!

I love reading my own books at the library these days! That said, I’m justified to visit my favorite bookstores almost every other day.
