		<description>Royal women did have some power occasionally!  Look at Eleanor of Aquitaine.  She had obvious agency if any woman did.  The husband&#039;s decision was unfortunately paramount, but noble women had more power than is commonly supposed, especially widows and women whose husbands went off on crusade.

I&#039;m a little skeptical of this one from having read Amazon reviews and even just the description, but I don&#039;t want to rant on your blog, so I&#039;ll just say that I like your review!  I think it&#039;s very even-handed and speaks to the book&#039;s strengths.  =)
