Teaser Tuesday
Grab your current read. Let the book fall open to a random page. Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12. You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given! Please avoid spoilers
“As Henry left the quiety sanctuary of Japantown and warily headed north on South King, in the direction of home, he saw someone – a boy. He could barely make out his shadow in the moodnlight, backlit by the streetlamps that buzzed and hummed, surrounded by moths bouncing off glass.”

I have to laugh at Karen’s comment. The frustration! I wish I could sleep on these books and receive the words through osmosis…it is the only part of my day that I’m not either listening to an audio or reading!!!!

I keep going back and forth on whether I want to read this one. Looks like beautiful prose though!

I had to stop myself from getting this book at the library Saturday. I already have it scheduled to read in March. I loved your teaser….can’t wait to read this book!

Someday I will check this out from the library. I have read too many great reviews of this book to pass it up.
