I review as soon as I finish the book. If I wait too long I don't think I would remember much and I want to be "in the moment". And I do exactly the same thing you do- cut out the chatter and make it more concise. For some reason it always gives me a little thrill when my review is the first to go up for that book on LT! I think it's better to have something every day rather than multiple posts some days and none others. And I almost always schedule them ahead rather than posting immediately, I like to have a day or two to think about them.
