That's crazy! It has been through a lot because a small faction of radical Muslims claim it is offensive to Islam. Its UK publisher was actually firebombed, putting publication on hold - at least temporarily. Any idea why The Giver was banned? That’s crazy!

I'll be reading it here later in the week. Started with Slaughterhouse-Five today.
