Hi! Just so you know, I recently started reading your blog too, although I’m not too great at commenting unless I have something important to say.
But I am a frequent lurker, and you are in my google reader!

Hey Heather, thanks for stopping by and saying ‘hi’! I’m off to check out your blog now.

Although I might not comment on every post, I read all of them. I have your blog on my Google reader, making it easy to keep updated on my favorite blogs.

Getting close to that 100th

J. Kaye – Thanks, that made me smile.
kegsoccer – I KNOW! At this point I’m having to almost ration my posts. I want to be able to do Tuesday Thingers if it is a good question, and I want the 100th post/contest winners to have a good day to themselves, so I have to NOT post right now.

Isn’t Google Reader the best invention since… well Google search?! I don’t know how I’d keep up with all my blog reading otherwise – though it is actually starting to cut into my book reading time!

Hey, my pleasure to hang out and read what you write. Keep the good stuff coming!

I also only recently started to read your blog and I’m glad I did. I’ll try to comment here as often as I can and not just lurk. I look forward to your new reviews!
All the best.

Wow! Think of how far you’ve come in such a short period of time. Congratulations! Now I need to figure out what Google reader is. Sad, I admit it…

Google reader is like Wordpress’ “Blog Surfer, ” only for any website with an updating feed. For instance, I could probably subscribe to your “recently added books” RSS feed on LibraryThing and everytime you added a book to your library it would show up on my google reader.
You’ve got a gmail address, I think, so just go to “google.com/reader” and sign in with that address. Click on ‘add subscription’ and then put the URL of any blog you like to keep up on in the little box and hit ‘add’. Voila! Now you can keep up on non-Wordpress blogs without having to go through every link every day, because you can just sign into your google reader and it will show you all the new posts from every blog you read.

All those thank you’s are so sweet – thanks

Thanks for the thanks. My reading blog is http://justareadingfool.wordpress.com
Sometimes I forget or am too lazy to sign out of as unfinishedperson, which features my “main” blog.

BTW, enjoy the name of your blog. It’s hard to come up with something that not everybody else already has, and I don’t think I’ve seen too many with your name.
