The Power of Books
I may have to drive up to Minneapolis sometime soon and check out Open Book. If it is powerful enough to revitalize a neighborhood all on its own, it seems worth making a literary pilgrimage for.
By the way, I got tagged again by chartroose to write 6 Random Things about myself. You can check out her list here. And you can check out my post on that meme here.

Hi Devourer!
I’ve tagged you for a meme. It’s kind of a “welcome to the Kool Kids” gift from me (because I’m the Koolest of the Kool Kids) ( : I hope you enjoy doing it!

I’m so excited to be one of the Kool Kids! Although, perhaps I’m cooler than you guys, ’cause i did this challenge a week or so ago. I’ll be checking out your blog now, though!

That sounds like a nice vacation spot for me to go to by myself someday… I can dream, right?

Maybe we could get a book blogger brigade tour together and go. And we could blog live FROM Open Book.

Open Book is awesome! They have a great gift shop, where you can actually sell your handmade books, zines etc. I once took a class in bookbinding and they have a cute little cafe and that’s just the ground level! I’ve forgotten what’s upstairs. About half a block over is the great comic book store, Big Brain Comics if that’s your thing! It’s a fun area for sure.
