I think I’ll join either PBS or BookMooch soon. I don’t have a ton of books that I want to get rid of, but I probably have a few. I doubt I’d get too many books, because I’d probably never put enough up, but it is a good idea. Unfortunately I just weeded through all my books and took a box or two to Half Price Books (and immediately spent all the money they gave me buying new books).

Have you thought about joining a bookswapping site like Paperback swap? You can get books basically for the cost of postage (so not entirely free, but pretty close) if you have some books around your house that you no longer want. I have gotten lots of books from there and have gotten rid of mostly books that my daughter had (so not the ones I want to keep!).

I do NOT like getting library books, although I do like going to the library. I far prefer to be able to keep my books, because I like to reread them.

I know! I’m very excited to read them together! Quite fortuitous. The Venetian Mask will just have to wait (if it ever gets here anyway).

You should really enjoy this book in conjunction with Eleanor vs. Ike!!!! You’ll jump into the novel knowing exactly what’s going on. I’ll definitely be on the look out for your review. I might have to get this one.
